Kennedi Casey | Nutrition Assistant/Summer Intern

Clarissa is a proud boy mom, devoted wife, and woman uplifted by the constant encouragement of her family. She finds joy in reading, shopping, and spending meaningful time with the people she loves. Time spent outdoors renews her spirit, and she is passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga with others.

Clarissa’s mission is to create a warm, judgment-free space where women feel safe to show up as their authentic selves. Through mindful movement and meaningful connection, she helps others build confidence, grow in self-awareness, and support one another on the journey of personal growth.

At Evergreen Health and Wellness, Clarissa sees the studio as more than a place to practice yoga—it’s a sanctuary for presence, self-acceptance, and community. Her approach invites women to let go of perfection and embrace their journey with openness, grace, and compassion.

Johannah is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with a deep passion for helping individuals live healthier, more fulfilling lives through evidence-based, personalized nutrition. She earned her B.S. in Dietetics from Kansas State University in 2016 and spent over eight years in clinical practice before founding Evergreen Health and Wellness in Kearney, MO.

Johannah specializes in weight management, diabetes education, chronic disease prevention, and lifestyle-based nutrition counseling. She believes every person’s wellness journey is unique—and that individualized, compassionate care is essential. At Evergreen, no two plans are the same, because no two clients are the same. Whether someone is managing a chronic illness, seeking support for weight concerns, navigating an eating disorder, or simply working toward better health, they’ll find a thoughtful, customized approach that respects their needs, values, and goals.

Johannah built Evergreen on faith-based values of integrity, humility, kindness, and wellness. As a Christian, she sees her work as a calling and feels honored to walk alongside others on their path to better health. Accepting insurance is a key part of her mission to increase access to care in the Kearney community.

Outside of her practice, Johannah enjoys cooking with her kids, trying new foods, sipping good coffee, gardening, yoga, running, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, Clara and Eddie.

Kennedi is a senior at Kearney High School and a year-round competitive athlete, playing both softball and basketball. She is actively involved in several student organizations, including National Honor Society, HOSA, FCCLA, Student Advisory, and Student Council. Like Johannah, Kennedi loves Starbucks, shopping, organizing, and staying busy. She also enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and friends.

Kennedi values both physical and mental health and makes them a priority in her daily life. She is passionate about educating others on the importance of overall wellness. This summer, Kennedi is supporting Evergreen Health and Wellness through a variety of projects while gaining hands-on experience with the evidence-based, personalized services we provide to the Kearney community.
